In the new Yandex headquarters monolithic works and installation of metal structures of the underground part have been completed. The amount of construction work underground can be compared to the construction of a 40-story tower.

In terms of its functionality, the underground part of the headquarters which will occupy 5 floors, is a whole city with its own sports complex and a 25-meter swimming pool, multi-level parking, engineering and technical rooms. In addition, 15 floors will be erected in the aboveground part of the building, the first of which will be occupied by the Yandex Museum and Education Center, cafes, restaurants, pharmacy, beauty salon, etc.

The ground part of Yandex headquarters is combined into a single complex with three wings of different heights with a maximum height of up to 75 m and a central atrium with a transparent roof. The light and technological facade will be lined with metal panels, a significant part of the area will be reserved for stained glass windows. The roof will be partially exploited - it will accommodate terraces.

The project was developed by London bureau PLP Architecture, Russian bureaus APEX and RTDA also participate in the project.
