RTDA took part in a unique project - the development of an industrial design concept for the platform of the Nuclotron cryogenic helium complex located in Dubna. The platform itself is part of the Nuclotron ring, which was created in 1988-1992. The Nuclotron is part of the new NICA accelerator complex (Nuclotron based Ion Collider Facility), which is currently being constructed at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research to study the properties of dense baryonic matter. After the NICA collider is launched (the commissioning is scheduled to be in 2020), scientists will be able to recreate in laboratory conditions the special state of matter in which our Universe was the first moments after the Big Bang, the quark-gluon plasma.
